What a Comprehensive Eye Exam Includes
A comprehensive eye exam is far more than reading letters off a chart. At Style Eyes, a typical exam includes:
- Vision and refraction testing — determining your exact prescription for distance, reading, and everything in between.
- Eye health assessment — checking the cornea, lens, retina, and optic nerve for early signs of disease.
- Retinal imaging — a detailed digital image of the back of the eye, useful for tracking changes year over year.

In Ontario, OHIP covers a routine eye exam annually for residents 19 and under and 65 and over.
